Back to Basics – Inviting with Purpose
Before you invite someone to join your Challenge Group remember why you’re inviting. Are you inviting to earn Success Club, or are you inviting to truly help the person change his/her life? Rewards will come when you focus on finding out how you can help people. Here are tips to get you started:
- Focus on them. Ask questions and get to know your contacts. Build relationships first to understand where the person is coming from. Do they work? Do they have a family? What do they do for fun? Follow the F.O.R.M.’ing method in How to Build Relationships to get to know more people.
- Invite when the time is right. When the relationship is built and you know what your prospect is struggling with and how you can help them, then you’re ready to invite. Follow the Customer 5-Step Invitation Process to increase your success in getting people started in your Challenge Group.
